Atiku Abubakar laments renewed attacks in North East

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed sadness over the recent bomb attacks on popular Jimeta Market in Yola, Adamawa State and Maiduguri, Borno State, respectively.

The Turakin Adamwa in a statement from his media office in Abuja, called on relevant security agencies to tackle the challenges as quick as possible.

Atiku further enjoined people in the affected areas to unite against the terrorists and support government’s efforts to fight insurgency.
He assured that offensive against Nigerians would eventually fail, adding that measures and alliances being put in place by President Muhammadu Buhari ‘s administration would end insurgency in the region.
