Wike: All will benefit from my govt
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has declared that all sections of the state will benefit from his administration’s infrastructural development programme.
Speaking at Abonnema in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, on Saturday, during his inspection of an on-going bridge project and the Abonnema General Hospital, Wike said he is committed to executing his campaign promises to the people of the state.
The governor was received by leaders of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area led by the Amanyanabo of Abonnema, King Gbobo BobManuel; former Minister of Sports, Dr Tammy Danagogo and former Rivers State Works Commissioner, David Briggs.
He assured the residents of Abonnema that the bridge, which has been left uncompleted for years, would be completed soon.
The governor also noted that his administration would develop the Abonnema General Hospital by improving on the facilities, infrastructure and personnel at the health institution.
His words: “We are committed to completing projects that will impact positively on the lives of our people. This bridge will be completed for the benefit of the Abonnema people.
“We will ensure that no community is left out in our determination to build a new Rivers State,’ he said.
