THE Senate on Wednesday June 3, 2015 gave a swift approval to President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to appoint 15 advisers.
The approval was given about 24 hours after Buhari’s letter was read by the Senate on Tuesday June 2.
It would be recalled that that was Buhari’s first correspondence to the National Assembly since assuming office on Friday May 29, 2015.
The appointments would be the second for the new president who only named his spokespersons and Chief of Protocol on Sunday.
Buhari has not given a hint of those he would name as advisers or ministers.
