The Chairman of Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa state, Maina Ularamu, has called on the Federal Government to provide more security in the area following a recent attack launched by the Boko Haram insurgents.
While confirming the Saturday attack by the Boko Haram insurgents on Sabongari town in Madagali Local Government Area which resulted in the killing of a man and abduction of six women by the insurgents, Ularamu said
the military should not relax in the fight against the insurgents in the area.

He complained that the absence of the military in some parts of the local government area may put the insurgents in a vantage position to launch future attacks on the people.
He said something should be done fast to wipe out the insurgents before they begin to regroup and recruit several youths into their fold as has been their practice.
