Ambode Floors Agbaje At Tribunal- 2015 Guber Polls

THE Lagos State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Ikeja, on Wednesday July 1, 2015 dismissed the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Jimi Agbaje, against Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Agbaje’s case was thrown out after the tribunal, led by Justice Muhammad Sirajo, agreed with the preliminary objection raised by the plaintiff’s counsel, Wole Olanipekun (SAN), that the petition was incompetent.
Agbaje had petitioned the tribunal challenging the declaration of Ambode as the winner of the April 11, 2015 governorship election in the state.
